Well...this is my first ever blog post! I have been encouraged to write down some tips, tricks, thoughts and recommendations for my amazing regular clients, and whoever else might stumble upon these ramblings, so here goes.
Learning to Juggle
Being a mum of three very lively, high energy kids, and running a growing business means that juggling life and work and everything else can be overwhelming at times and sometimes part of being a mum and a business owner can mean making sure others' needs come first- this is something I gladly do but can be really challenging too.
Just like the plumber's tap that always drips, I often find myself not having time for me, never mind my own hair care. My hair tends to be greasy towards the roots and dry at the ends which is often symptomatic of pre-lightening and colouring hair.
Liquid Gold
To help reduce these 'symptoms' and make my hair easier to tame as well as help it to look and feel more healthy, I use the incredible Bellessere Oil from Kemon. A few drops of this rubbed into my hair after a shower makes it easier to brush, style and smooth (On a really bad day, I also use a few extra drops instead of a hair gloss to smooth any fly-away hairs after drying).
I find that if I can control my hair, it in some small way compensates for those times I'm unable to control the rest of my life and if I don't get my hair washed the next day (which tends to be a pretty regular occurrence) my hair is still easier to detangle and control and helps me feel on top of at least one thing. One bottle will do a couple of months and this liquid gold is well worth it!
Now - time to finish homeworks, make dinner, head to slimming world and then to church! Oh and maybe get the shower I didn't have time for this morning. Remind me why I decided to do a blog- clearly just bored!
